## System Requirements

### Main Server (Required: Dedicated Server)

To ensure optimal performance and stability, your main server must meet the following requirements:

- **Operating System:** Ubuntu 18.04, 20.04, or 22.04, 24.04 (fresh installation recommended)
- **Root Access:** Full root access via SSH
- **Connection:** Minimum 1 Gbps network speed
- **RAM:** At least 32 GB
- **Disk Space:** Minimum 250 GB SSD
- **CPU:** High-performance processor (multi-core recommended)

> ⚠️ The main server must be a dedicated server, not a VPS. VPS environments can introduce limitations in performance and network stability.

> ⛔ **Important:** It is recommended that the server is completely clean after restoration, with no other software previously installed by the administrator.

### Load Balancing Servers (Optional)

For additional scalability, you can add one or more Load Balancing (LB) servers. These may be dedicated or high-performance VPS servers, with the following minimum specs:

- **Connection:** At least 1 Gbps
- **RAM:** 32 GB minimum
- **Disk Space:** At least 500 GB SSD
- **CPU:** Multi-core processor

> ⚠️ These specifications are a starting point. If you expect a high volume of live streams, more RAM, download speed, and processing power may be required.

### Getting the Installer

After purchasing your license, go to the official client area:

1. Select the license you have acquired.
2. You will be presented with a command to copy and paste into your terminal (SSH session).
3. Run the command on the main server to begin installation.

> 🔒 **Important:** If you're migrating from a third-party system, create a backup of your SQL database before running the installer. Keep a local copy saved on your computer.

## Installation Process

Once the installer is launched, it will guide you through a series of prompts to define the type of installation. A progress indicator will keep you informed throughout the process.

When installation is complete, a URL will be generated for accessing the administrator and reseller panel.

## First-Time Setup

When accessing the panel for the first time, you'll be presented with two options:

1. **Fresh Setup from Zero** — Select this if you are starting from scratch and not migrating from another IPTV system.
   - You will be asked to create your admin username and password.
   - You will also set a 4-digit PIN code, used as a second security step during login.

2. **Import VODs/Users from my old IPTV System** — Choose this if you're migrating from another software panel and want to import your existing users and VOD content.
   - Select the previous software (e.g. Xtream Codes, Xtream UI, XUI One, etc.).
   - Upload your SQL backup file to: `/home/xtreamai/`
   - Then click **Start Migration**.

> ⏳ Depending on your database size (e.g. over 200 MB) and server performance, the migration process may take more than one hour to complete.
