You add new movies and series every week, but your subscribers rarely find them unless they search. **New Arrivals** is a 24/7 channel in their channel list that shows everything new in your catalog, presented like a cinema billboard. It updates itself every night, with nothing to upload or edit.

## Requirements

- Engine 2.5.0 on your main server. See [Update the Engine](/docs/update-the-engine).
- An active **New Arrivals** plan. It is a paid add-on (see "The New Arrivals plan" below).
- Admins only. A limited admin needs the **New Arrivals channel** permission. Resellers see the channel if you add it to their bouquets, but they cannot change its settings.

## How it works

- You add content as usual: movies and series from imports, watch folders or by hand all count.
- Every night the panel builds a new video with every title added since the 1st of the month, in the theme and language you chose.
- Your main server downloads the new video and swaps it in without stopping the channel.
- On the 1st of each month the video starts over with that month's titles. The first days it is short, and it grows as you add content.
- Adult categories are always left out.
- A title needs a poster from TMDB to appear in the video.

## Activate the channel

1. Open **Channels** > **New Arrivals**.
2. Pick a look and a **Video language** and check the **Preview**.
3. Choose a plan and click **Activate channel**. Pay from your Xtream AI balance or with a crypto invoice.

## Set it up

After you activate it, the page shows the channel status, a preview and the **Settings** card.

**Theme**: **Gala** (velvet and gold), **Premiere** (black and platinum), **Christmas** or **Halloween**. Turn on **Seasonal themes** to switch to Halloween from Oct 20 to 31 and to Christmas from Dec 1 to 26, then back to your theme.

**The video**:

- **Video language**: Español, English, Português, Français, Italiano or Deutsch. It sets the title, date and labels on screen.
- **Logo in the video**: your logo above the title, in every theme. PNG or SVG with a transparent background, at least 600 px wide.
- **Movies** and **Series**: include new movies, new series, or both. A series shows once, even if it got many episodes.
- **Leave out categories**: categories you do not want in the video.
- **Order**: **Newest first**, **Oldest first** or **By category**.
- **Most titles per video**: 60, 90, 150, 240 or All.

**Channel in your list**:

- **Channel name**: how the channel is called in your subscribers' apps.
- **Channel logo**: the picture next to the channel name in the list (not the logo inside the video). Choose **New Arrivals logo**, **Same as the video logo**, **Your own image** (upload one or paste a link) or **No logo**. **How it looks in apps** shows a sample row.
- **Category**: the channel category.
- **Bouquets**: subscribers with these bouquets see the channel.
- **Load balancers** (optional): the channel also runs on these servers, besides your main server.

Click **Save changes**. The first save starts your channel's first video, and a card shows the progress: reading your catalog, collecting posters, making the video, sending it to your server and starting the channel.

## Updates and limits

- Name and logo changes apply to the channel right away.
- Changes to the video (theme, language, titles, category, bouquets, servers) apply on the next build. **Build now** makes a new video right away. You can build 3 times a day.
- You can make up to 12 previews a day.
- **Daily builds** lists the last 7 builds with date, titles, length, theme and status.

## Publish each new title on Telegram and Discord

New Arrivals shows what is new inside the apps. To also announce each new movie or series on your Telegram or Discord channel, with its cover and synopsis, set up **Settings** > **Content Notifications**. See [Telegram Notifications](/docs/telegram-notifications).

Pay from your Xtream AI balance or with a crypto invoice. **Manage subscription** lets you turn on automatic renewal and extend the plan. You can cancel any time: the channel stays until the paid period ends. See [Plugins](/docs/plugins).

## Common problems

- **"New Arrivals needs engine 2.5.0 on your main server."**: update your main server, then try again.
- **"No new titles this month yet."**: add movies or series. Only titles with a TMDB poster count.
- **"A channel with this name already exists. Choose another name."**: pick another **Channel name**.
- **"Your main server could not download the video."** or **"Your main server did not answer."**: check that your main server is online. The panel tries again on its own.
- **"You can build the video 3 times a day."**: wait until tomorrow, or let the nightly build do it.
- **The preview shows other titles**: when you have no titles with a poster yet, the preview uses example titles. Yours show up once you add movies or series.
