The backup command allows administrators to generate full .SQL backups of the system database directly from the terminal, quickly, securely, and without needing to access the panel.

Command

/home/xtreamai/cli/backup

Description

When executed, this command prompts you to enter:

  • Your license key
  • Your license ID

These can be found in your client area: 👉 https://xtreamai.net/client-area/products/

Once validated, the system will automatically generate a full .SQL backup of your Xtream AI database. The backup file will be stored in:

/home/xtreamai/backups/

You can then manually download, archive, or move this file as needed.

Automating Your Backups

If you prefer to automate this process, Xtream AI includes a cloud backup feature accessible through the web panel.

To configure automatic backups and cloud export:

  1. Log in to your Admin Panel.
  2. Go to Settings → Backups.
  3. Enable scheduled backups.
  4. Choose your preferred cloud storage provider (e.g., Dropbox).
  5. Set the frequency and retention period.

This allows you to maintain up-to-date copies of your system even in the event of unexpected issues.
