Which apps are officially supported?

Some of the most commonly used and fully compatible IPTV players include:

  • IPTV Smarters Pro
  • XCIPTV Player
  • TiviMate
  • GSE Smart IPTV
  • Perfect Player
  • iPlayTV
  • Smart STB
  • Flix IPTV
  • OTT Navigator
  • Web-based players (via embedded or custom links)

If the app supports M3U/EPG or Xtream API logins, it will work with Xtream AI.

Can I restrict or control which apps are allowed?

Yes. Xtream AI includes an advanced feature called User Restrictions, which gives you full control over how and where your content can be accessed. With this feature, you can:

  • Allow access only through IPTV apps (blocking playback via browsers)
  • Encrypt M3U playlist downloads to protect credentials
  • Restrict playback to specific IP ranges or domains

Playing Content on Web-based Players (CORS)

If you want your clients to be able to play content using web-based players or onto any third-party website, you must enable the CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) setting.

How to enable it:

  1. Navigate to Settings β†’ Security (or General Settings) in your panel.
  2. Locate the Enable CORS toggle.
  3. Switch it to Enabled.

Once activated, web-based players will have the necessary permissions to request and stream content from your servers without being blocked by browser security policies.

This makes Xtream AI not only compatible with most IPTV apps but also secure and customizable depending on your business model or customer profile.

What about Smart TVs or MAG devices?

Xtream AI works on any Smart TV app that supports M3U or Xtream API input, including popular Smart TV platforms like LG, Samsung, Android TV, and Fire TV. However, it's important to note:

⚠️ Xtream AI does not support legacy MAG or Enigma devices, as these are considered outdated and restrictive technologies.

Our focus is on modern, flexible, and future-ready environments. Support for these older systems has been intentionally discontinued to prioritize performance, scalability, and innovation.
