How to Add a Load Balancer
To add a Load Balancer server, you can choose between two installation methods:
Option 1: Remote Installation (Recommended)
This method allows you to install the Load Balancer directly from your panel. Once the main server is installed and you are logged in:
- In the navigation bar within the Servers section, select the Add Load Balancer option.
- A form will appear asking for the server's IP, User, Password, and SSH Port.
- Fill in the details to start the installation.
- Subsequently, SSH keys are stored in the main server's database, encrypted with a unique key different for each license.
Option 2: Manual Installation via SSH
If you prefer to install manually, follow these steps:
- Access the official client area: π https://xtreamai.net/client-area/products/
- Locate your active license and copy the installer command provided.
- Connect to the new server (via SSH) where you want to install the Load Balancer.
- Paste and run the installer command in the terminal.
- When prompted, select that the server is a Load Balancer, not a Main Server.
β οΈ Important Warning: If you choose to install this server as a Main Server, the system will automatically revoke your current main server license and delete all its associated data, including the database. All connected Load Balancers will then be redirected to the new Main Server's IP. This action is irreversible, so please double-check your selection during setup.
What Happens Next?
Once installation is complete and the Load Balancer role is confirmed, the server will automatically appear in your Xtream AI Panel.
There are no additional steps required β the system will handle the entire configuration process in the background.
You can now begin assigning traffic or streams to this Load Balancer as needed.
