Xtream AI Streaming Engine includes a built-in Chat System designed to offer a secure, anonymous, and role-based communication channel between users of different privilege levels; specifically between resellers, sub-resellers, and administrators.

This tool ensures clear communication within the platform while preserving privacy and hierarchical integrity.

Overview

The Chat System allows users with lower privileges to initiate conversations with users of higher privilege, but not the other way around. This rule is designed to protect the structure of resellers and sub-resellers, ensuring that administrators and higher-tier users do not initiate direct contact unless explicitly allowed.

Key Characteristics

• 🔐 One-way initiation:
  Only resellers or sub-resellers can start a conversation with someone above them in the hierarchy (e.g., a sub-reseller with their master reseller).
  Administrators cannot start chats with sub-resellers directly. This guarantees that communication flows only when initiated from below.

• 👁️ Anonymous Role Labels:
  All participants see only generic role identifiers (e.g., Super Administrator, Reseller, Sub-Reseller) instead of usernames. This ensures privacy and avoids unnecessary exposure of identities.

• 🛡️ Controlled escalation:
  If a Super Administrator joins a conversation between a sub-reseller and their reseller, the sub-reseller will see both participants as "Super Administrators" without knowing who is who.

Example Use Cases

• A Sub-Reseller reports a client issue to their Reseller Master.

• A Reseller raises a billing or configuration question to a Super Admin.

• A Super Admin may choose to intervene in an existing conversation but cannot initiate one directly.

This structure ensures communication is always respectful of role boundaries.

Using the Chat Interface

1. Navigate to the Chats section in your dashboard.

2. Under Active Chats, view your current conversations.

3. Only users with lower privileges will see the option to start a new chat.

4. Write your message and click Send.
