Generate a Backup
Creating regular database backups is a critical part of managing any streaming infrastructure. Whether you need to safeguard your user data, system configurations, or content metadata, Xtream AI makes this easy through a dedicated CLI command.
The backup command allows administrators to generate full .SQL backups of the system database directly from the terminal, quickly, securely, and without needing to access the panel.

Description
When executed, this command prompts you to enter:
Your license key
Your license ID
These can be found in your client area:

Once validated, the system will automatically generate a full .SQL backup of your Xtream AI database. The backup file will be stored in:
You can then manually download, archive, or move this file as needed.
Automating Your Backups
If you prefer to automate this process, Xtream AI includes a cloud backup feature accessible through the web panel.
To configure automatic backups and cloud export:
Log in to your Admin Panel.
Go to Settings → Backups.
Enable scheduled backups.
Choose your preferred cloud storage provider (e.g., Dropbox).
Set the frequency and retention period.
This allows you to maintain up-to-date copies of your system even in the event of unexpected issues.
