Where is the TMDB API Key?

Our panel includes a built-in integration with TMDb that allows the system to:

• Automatically search for movie or series titles

• Retrieve metadata, posters, and backdrops

• Translate information into multiple languages

All of this happens without the need for any external API configuration. The TMDb service is already active by default as part of the Xtream AI core.

How does metadata retrieval work?

When you begin adding a new movie or series, simply type the name into the “Movie Name” or “Series Name” field. As you type, the system will automatically query TMDb and display possible matches in real-time.

You’ll see a dropdown like:

From this dropdown, you can select the most relevant match for your content.

Can I choose the metadata language?

Yes. On the right side of the same page, you’ll find a TMDb Language selector, which allows you to choose from several available languages including:

• English

• Español

• Português

• Français

• Italiano

• Deutsch

Once you select a language, the system will automatically translate the movie description (plot), title, and even posters if they’re available in that language.

This feature provides full internationalization support, making it easy to tailor your VOD catalog to different audiences without needing any third-party tools.
